Peace Education

Claire and ClaraAt Faith, we take great pride in providing students the opportunity to achieve academic excellence.  We hold high standards and expect great things from all of our students. Academic achievement goes hand-in-hand with the Montessori philosophy, yet is only one aspect of our program.  Equally important to academic achievement is learning to appreciate differences, developing conflict resolution skills, showing compassion for others, learning to share, and being a contributing member of a community.  Peace is not studied as an independent subject but is woven into the very fabric of our everyday school life.  Learning to get along with others, to be courteous, respectful, fair, and happy are essential in life.  These are the lessons students learn in our environment on a daily basis, and these are the qualities that will ensure their success in the outside world.
